The Life and Adventures of Little Miss Gluten Free

About Me

So it seems that anyone, anywhere, with anything interesting to say, is blogging.

And I’ve decided to join them!

I was recently diagnosed with Coeliac Disease and it has been a little bit of a whirlwind, so I thought the best thing to do is write about it. I plan to share recipes, experiments, experiences and anything else that might be useful or interesting! If you are reading this as a Gluten Free-er yourself, hopefully you might feel inspired too!

So let me start by telling you a little bit about myself.
I have an incredible career working with the most wonderful children and adults. Having taken the leap five years ago to set up my own performing arts company, I can honestly say it was the best decision I ever made. This not only provides me with endless challenges and rewards that every teacher all over the world faces, but also the other side of the coin; managing and running the business. A never ending challenge, but one I have grabbed with both hands and decided to run with while I see how far I can go.

As well as running my performing arts company, I love to spend time with my fabulous friends (and their adorable children). Whether we’re out exploring or in trying homemade yumminess and a new herbal tea or coffee concoction, there are always lot’s of fascinating discoveries that I can’t wait to share with you.

I am a keen baker and maker and love to experiment in the kitchen with new products and recipes. Taking on the new role of Gluten Free baking is going to be a challenge (label reading isn’t currently at the top of my list of life skills!) but one that I plan to run with and document! This is going to be especially fun when cooking for my Italian boyfriend and his family when, for some reason, I rise to the challenge of creating authentic Italian food (there is not an Italian bone in my body)! The only problem is that I am rather adverse to following any kind of recipe and prefer to run with whatever seems right at the time!

I will be blogging about whatever takes my fancy; gluten free cooking, places I’ve been to that you should definitely try, a funny dance class anecdote, the frivolities of living a self employed life and much more besides I’m sure.

So stay a while, make yourself a yummy drink and have a little read!
